Each year, CCFD personnel spend hundreds of hours training, in meetings and raising the considerable funds that are required to finance this all volunteer organization.  We are always looking to recruit and retain more firefighters and members to spread the workload out as much as possible.  Please watch the video above to better understand some of the considerable challenges faced by firefighters in the Twenty-First Century.

Even if you have no interest in becoming a firefighter and responding to emergencies, you still can be a valuable member of our family.  There is always work to be done and monies to be raised.  Your skills and your time can help in a number of ways to free up our firefighters to attend classes and training.  Best of all, your activities with CCFD will look good on any resume and help you to gain valuable experience in other areas that you may otherwise not have.
