At 09:38 this morning, Brush 807 was dispatched for a reported hay bale fire in the 1200 block of Bridge Valley Road in Rapho Township. Brush was en-route within minuets and LCWC advised multiple hay bales on fire roughly 20 feet from a barn. (more…)
Two CCFD members recently attended a Pro-Board Certification exam for Hazard Materials at the Awareness level and successfully completed all requirements. With obtaining this high level of qualification, these members will have their qualifications listed in a national database and website for easy verification. This national level of certification means that their qualifications are accepted throughout the United States and is even recognized by some other countries. It also has the added benefit in that CCFD will score higher when applying for federal and state grants. (more…)

In the state of Pennsylvania, legislation was shot down requiring home sprinklers in new homes and with the new construction techniques and materials, that makes it extremely dangerous for you and for firefighters.
