During the month of April, CCFD personnel have continued to put forth great effort and dedication in furthering their training. The notable highlights for the month include several new fire line officers completing an introductory officer training class and Firefighter Todd Lightcap Sr. completing the final installment of DelMar Module Series to become an interior firefighter. While everyone’s efforts are certainly noteworthy, however Firefighter Lightcap started from zero just a few short months ago. (more…)
Pyrocap Demonstration
Friday, April 13th, 2012On Saturday, 14 April 2012, CCFD will host a Pyrocap demonstration courtesy of Kleen-Rite starting at 10AM. Members of neighboring fire departments are welcome to attend as are members of the general public. Several evolutions will be demonstrated to show guests first-hand the many applications of this versatile product. Food and refreshments will also be served.
