It is the mission of the Columbia Consolidated Fire Department (CCFD) to provide first responder services to the Borough of Columbia, PA and mutual aid to surrounding communities.  CCFD will respond to fires, accidents, rescues, medical emergencies, mutual aid calls and other threats to public safety and property from both natural and man-made disasters.  As first responders to emergencies, it is CCFD’s goal to provide prompt, courteous service with the highest levels of professionalism that saves lives and minimizes property loss.  Furthermore, it is the mission of CCFD to educate the general public in fire safety, smoke detectors, safety restraints and child seats as well as conducting fire extinguisher training.

Service – CCFD continues the tradition of serving the residents of the Borough of Columbia, PA and surrounding communities in a safe and effective manner.  Service is the sole purpose for CCFD’s existence.

Ability – CCFD is dedicated to maintaining the quality and faculty to fulfill the objectives of our mission.  It is an essential part of our code of conduct as we faithfully observe the call of duty with honesty, integrity and professionalism.
